I don't know if it was the CoPro or the "Fossilized Hot Fudge" that was bridging some of the socket/chip connections, but my Mac Con, and Radius Color Pivot II/IIsi seem to be getting along amicably after all! I'll have to post the address used for the MacCon and results when I try the CoPro, sans coco grunge, in the MacCon Socket again . . .
. . . I should probably test all the other address alternatives too. :
Per the MacCon Docs, graciously linked to by theos911, it has had its ThickNet DaughterCard removed and is plugged into The Radius Color Pivot II/IIsi, whose DB-15 connector has been installed in place of the ThickNet DB-15. There's something slightly kinky about this arrangement, but it works! When I looked at the backplane assembly originally, I'd wondered if I could remove that section!
I was able to switch the IIsi's Networking over to Ethernet successfully, but I haven't tested it yet. Time to stop with the SneakerNet dance and set up a network again!
I also haven't been able to install a 7.5.5 friendly rev. of TattleTech on the Q700 OS 7.5.5 HDD I've been using on the IIsi as yet. However, that .sea and a few other utilities now reside on a floppy after my morning of 2300c triage. Thanks for the lead on those three pathetic 2300s too theos! [

Now all I need to do is transfer them to ZIP, set up a Network again or find a FDD that'll work in the IIsi, whose drive is shot.
