Hi all,

Most (if not all) SMD components show their values on three numbers: the leftmost two are the significant digits while the last one means the number of zeros to be put to the right in order to read the full numeric value -- in picofarads in the case of capacitors.

So, 226 really means 22000000 pF = 22000 nF = 22 uF (micro-farads), which makes a lot of sense to me. And 225 should be 2.2 uF.

About the other markings, I'm not sure; but the + seems to point at the positive lead, the 16 seems the voltage rating (16v is a typical value) and the final k... I don't know, but could be a tolerance or temperature rating.
