DiskWarrior 2, 3, or 4 should boot a PM6500.  I think DW2 boots up 9.1 or thereabouts.  DW4  boots some version of OSX, but is good for (some?) Powermacs too.

And yeah, be careful of Norton.  It was awesome before diskwarrior came out and we learned better.
