Applevision 1710 monitors are notorious for failure so probably best to find it a home in a bin somewhere, sadly. I'd increase the RAM a bit, and keep both 7.6.1 and 8.1 on it to run some more PPC apps. You could try OS 8.6 with 128+ MB RAM, but the slow 601 CPU won't help things
