I seem to have misunderstood the issue a bit.

Cant say the 7500 was a favourite of mine.

My System used to crash several times a day, even after swapping some hardware: RAM, SCSI, CPU daughterboard.

One of those dreadful "Monday logicboards" ,I presume.
