That or nostalgic reasons, as the classic/classicII were the home units of the time?

I remember game shows, like doubledare and etc offering them as a final prize. Ive only ever owned one classic way back in the day, and it was a thrift store find. ran great until the CPU decided to die off.... and that was it.
