Faxing from SE 30 or iMacg5
I want to send a fax from my SE 30 (OS 7.5.5) . I know I have sent fax from this in past.
I found the 1.4Mb disk with FaxSTF (version 2.6.1) installer on it and ran it. I was asked to choose my modem model, with "US Robotics 14,400 Mac & Fax" highlighted amoung many other choices, with an initializing string: AT&FEC.... etc. I did.
After running installer, I finally got icons in Chooser to choose modem port, with "Setup" button. Though I set up parameters in all boxes, I'm not getting a "send" button anywhere.
As said, I've sent faxes from this machine before with its telephone modem. My iMac G5 only has modem to my internet provider, not phone.
I can always use an external fax service, but how by computer?
