Hey guys.. I joined here because I just recently bought a Mac Classic. Got it for a steal. Found it on eBay for $15, and since it was local, I didn't have to pay for shipping.
It was listed as working, which it does work. But the sound wasn't working, so I pulled it apart. Of course, I found the typical leaking capacitors on the logic board. So the board is being sent off to someone I know so they can replace the caps for me as I've never replaced surface mount caps.
Anyways... I found some abandonware online that will work on the Classic. I downloaded them on my Lombard Powerbook, and copied them to a floppy disk. Put the disk in the Classic..... programs show up on the disk, but they don't work. Gives an error I can't remember, but none of the programs work. What am I doing wrong?
