Nope, no Ctrl key. Obviously, early software didn't use it, either. MacTerminal has a "soft-Control" that allows you to send Ctrl-key sequences over the serial connection, but that's the only place I know of where you would really need a Ctrl key.

Personally, I love the Apple IIGS keyboard (A9M0330.) Physically small ADB keyboard, with Control in the "right" place: to the left of 'A', with Caps Lock relegated to a small square in the corner. I still use a IIGS keyboard on my B&W G3.
