I originally posted this over on Macrumors in the PowerPC section, but I didn't get an answer... so Blessed Cheesemaker recommended I post here (Thanks!).
I found a copy of After Dark Classic a few days ago at Goodwill for a buck. Brand new jewel case still wrapped!! Anyways, I installed it, and reset the computer like it asked. When it starts up, the After Dark extension icon comes up garbled and I get a Bomb error. Says "Error caused by After Dark extension". So I reset it and started it up without extensions, uninstalled it, reinstalled and it did the same thing.
Is this version of After Dark not compatible with the Lombard and OS 9.2.2? Any help is appreciated.

Apparently, After Dark isn't terribly happy about >= 9.0.4. There are some patches floating around, but most seem to be for After Dark 4.0.
The only issues I have had with After Dark (v2 IIRC) Star Trek Edition (TOS) was, as far as I recall Multimodule not working and some modules require 256 colours.. not sure if randomizer works but pretty sure that is all, it does not crash.
However, that does not mean other ones are the same. One thing I do not like about After Dark screen savers is that you cannot easily install multiple 'editions' unless you install them one by one and manually snatch the modules from em. It takes so much rebooting though. -_-

I fixed it! I found a site (http://www.whipassgaming.com/deadsections/macgamesroot/afterdark40.html) that has the patch I needed. I installed it and put my modules in the folder and it worked!
