Airport Base Station (Snow) Setup Woes

Airport Base Station (Snow) Setup Woes Networking 1 post Nov 24, 2011
A while back, I bought a snow airport base station. I am trying to connect it to an iMac G4 via an airport card and an iMac G3 via ethernet to get on the internet. I eventually plan on having more macs connected, but for now I only need the G4. It appears that everything is set up right. In the network tab in system preferences, it shows green lights and says that I am connected to the internet via wifi and ethernet. The Airport Wifi logo also looks good and has full bars. But when I go to Internet Explorer or Safari, it says that the requested webpage is unavaliable even if I have the G4 connected with both wifi and ethernet. I have tried different websites such as google and 68kmla, but I still get the same message. My guess is that I have left out something when I set it up, although I do remember that when I set up my G4 to my previous router that I had to insert a dollar sign ($) somewhere. I did not do that this time as I forgot where to put it. I don't even know or remember if I need this in this situation, but anyways, does anybody know what is wrong? If everything seems OK to you, then could someone please tell me what all I need to have typed in when setting it up (Eg: ISP, Hex Keys, Passwords, etc)?

Thanks
