I happen to have dead Classic around, shouldn't the disk drive work (both have 1.44MB automatic) on IIfx?

The PRAM-batteries have been already changed, not new ones, but working ones atleast.

I have an deal-coocking up for lots of II's of different model, inc.memory and network cards etc. Should have lots of spare parts soon..
