1989 Macintosh Portable in working order with bag

The Macintosh Portable has been on my want list for the longest time. I've been watching eBay for a year and haven't been able to score one. The prices just go way too high. I managed to score this puppy in the bag for only $140. It's in great shape.

I took the whole thing apart and gave it a good cleaning.

I even gave the keyboard a retr0brite session since they had a little yellowing on them.

Your retro corner is sweet, and the Portable is an excellent addition. I especially like the matching bag. I'm gonna get into my old Mac stash and add another desk to my office to dedicate to some of my old stuff. So many options and so little space! I won't ramble on about that since I don't want to take attention away from this excellent addition to your collection.

I've got a really nice Luggable too, I need to fire it up again sometime soon . . .

I also finally scored a DOA Portable for a color LCD hack of some kind with current technology, which for me . . .

. . . means anything from the Duos thru now. }

Nice display! Is that shelf the Portable sits on a custom made, or factory?
