Do yourself a favor and get that (or those) motherboards recapped before bad goes into worse. Do you have weak audio?

Nice 'quest. Try booting with the space bar held down to see if 7.5 is installed with Extensions Manager. If not, try rebooting with Shift. If it still hangs, you may have a corrupted System Folder, bad hard drive or bad caps on your motherboard.
