Thanks, EudiG! My biggest problem is following through to completion, once the proof of concept stage meets my stringent requirements.

IOW, only the really utilitarian of hacks get completed before it's time for me to move on to more challenging fare.

Probably a vacuum forming rig should be my next utilitarian project, that'll get several stalled hacks back on track. I've found an old softball teammate from my church team who restores antique cars, so he's going to be sandblasting the plexi rear-projection screen for the MacintoshClassicIIIColorTVp™ Hack, which I've really been wanting to finish up.

The optical bench experimentation to dial that puppy in is gonna' be a blast! :approve:

edit: I like to have a slide show going on along with "NatureScapes" kinda white noise generation CDs. For me, music is usually for rockin' it on road trips, but I've got some good tunes in the 100 CD Changer set on Random. During the winters I've been using the QS'02 as the slide-show server, but the three weeks of spring we get are just about sprung down here in the Bermuda Triangle. Normally I'd go for a Takkified SlideServer . . .
