I have a 6100 and I never found it a very stable machine...seems to run a bit hot, even with fresh paste and a 486 CPU fan attached...

I am thinking mine cooked itself to death in a past life.

Also, those plastics are the world famous Mr. Spindler's Fantastic Shatter Plastic. Wonderful stuff that self-destructs with age.

Even in piles of crap you will find at least a few good things. I normally euthanize CrapMacs though, its for their own good. Their parts go to their stronger brethren.
