VGA LCD on Mac Mini G4?
What type of adapter do I need to properly hook up a vga lcd to a Mac Mini G4. I ordered what I thought was the correct adapter on Amazon but it don't connect to the back of the computer or monitor.... :-/
Its got a DVI-I output which basically works with any display that doesn't require a dual link connector. It carries both that analog signal as well as digital.
I've used a VGA to DVI plug before, works great.
I'm guessing this is the one I need. http://www.amazon.com/Syba-Connectland-CL-ADA31002-Female-Adapter/dp/B002R0DZXU/ref=pd_sim_e_2
The vga cord has prongs on it, so it needs to go into holes on the adapter not vice versa.

That's it. Cheap too!
Awesome, thanks guys!
My Mac Mini G4 had a DVI -> VGA adaptor in the box.
Works great, have had it hooked up to CRTs and LCDs over the years.
