Remember--full size Mac IIs don't boot unless they have working batteries. Check them first before moving on to anything else.

I'm glad you mentioned that...I had forgotten that fact! I'm going to grab my big 'ol II when I visit my storage room and see if that's the issue! 8-) (And pray not to find an acid-eaten mess...)
