ScanDump™ Project Listing:
Video Adapter Docs Scan Dump
Peripherals Scan Dump
June, 1992_MacUser_Accelerators_Compared
Accelerator Comparisons: July 1991 MacWorld
DAYSTAR Universal PowerCache installation manual
I think that's all of them to date . . .

Anyways . . . from the Apple Macintosh IIx - DayStar, Radius - NOT Mine thread. . .
] ]'> )
Some help getting my stuff stuffed onto the 68kMLA's infrastructure for safekeeping would be GREATLY appreciated. A list of tagged links to the MLA piccies is easy enough for me to edit into the Dumps and would free up some time for me to scan in some more of the ancient MacCrap from the magic boxen.
Congratulations to anyone who actually wades through this drivel to get to this point. Clarity of.TXTual output isn't one of my stronger points. :I

I have almost exactly the same Macintosh II as that complete with DayStar 50MHz PowerCache, 20Mb of RAM and Radius Precision Colour 8-24 display board. Is this the same adapter used for the socketed SE/30? I'm Radius Junkie and a Rocket Jockey, so I don't know about such things. I know the IIcx used a different one for a more compact installation.
I also have the box and documentation that came with the DayStar 50Mhz PowerCache and it states that it's compatible with the LC, LCII, IIsi, IIci, II, IIx, IIcx, Classic, SE or SE/30 on the outside of the box. AFAIK, the IIci is the only machine that can take the PowerCache directly into its PDS slot, all the others will need to use the supplied adapter. I also know the II, IIx and IIcx will need its original processor and co-processor unit pulled and the adapter fitted in their place, with the PowerCache card then fitting into the adapter. I don't have direct knowledge of how it fits inside the other machines.
Info like this surfaces all the time here at the 68kMLA, so I'd like more volunteers to scan-n-dump additional materials (from defunct copyrights/holders, of course [From my ScanDump™ series:DAYSTAR Universal PowerCache installation manual
That gives you the information on four more machines, assuming the LC575(?) uses the Color Classic adapter. Dunno . . .
Yup! That was the, badly phrased, jist of my question. THX! :approve:BUT
Physical design of the adapter card may lead to space and clearance issues in an SE/30.
Spicey, if you've got the Docs for your adapter, could you check to see if it covers more than one model?
ScanDump™ Project contributions are always welcome . . . encouraged . . . wanna be the first to volunteer? [] ]'>
For the rest of the gang: My ScanDump™ Project images are available and need to be uploaded to the 68kMLA's piccie-thingama-doohicky. Just in case I, and my iFroggie account, go AWOL for an extended R&R session in a padded roo . . . erm . . . nice, all inclusive, resort facility again, like the iDisk incident back in the day, they should be backed up and linked here. B's working out a HowTo on the process and I'd rather spend my time scanning through the file folder box+ worth of research materials . . .
. . . never mind, this is Tangential to . . . erm . . . my OP . . . go figure! :So I'll post a ScanDump™ Project Topic in Peripherals . . .

Now for your next trick ... make local uploads of all the images
That's what I was asking a volunteer to do. If anyone wants to take on the project, I'll pm the "edit Window" .TXT so all my images can be transferred here for safekeeping and the new links edited into the raw post .TXT. At that point I'll edit my post with the changes and somebody will get full credit and a commendation for their contribution to the organization of our site's content.
As I said, I've got way more than just one file folder box bulging with info to scan. Localization of stuff I've already done would be a waste of time I should be putting into scanning more content!
