Just scored today a very nice looking Classic, not too yellow,in working condition (there is no HD but was part of the deal) and free ! 
Boot to the blinking mark, so at least i know that the logic board is ok and screen side is fine as well.
Nice addition, the compact is supplied with one of those anti-theft ring (never get one of those)
I also collected a set of 2 x Sdram 512 mo PC 100...those are unfortunately ECC and probably won't fit any Powermac G4.
I also get the perfect tool (not free this time) for any Compact :
Was used immediately to get the Classic opened, i cleaned the floppy drive and removed the battery (was dead but hasn't leaked at all...was not a Maxell one)
The Classic is only supplied with on board Ram, no additional ram board is supplied...doesn't matter i have got something in mind for this Classic.
