Boxed IIci [almost], Daystar 601, and FWB Jackhammer
I did a good faith purchase on Craigslist for a guy's old IIci. I live in California, he's in Chicago. I paid $150 + about $30 parcel post shipping for a boxed IIci. It came with a Daystar 601 upgrade complete in original box, manuals, disks, etc., and a FWB Jackhammer SCSI card with all manuals and disks (no box.)
The IIci itself came with about 80% everything. It was missing the original system disks, but has 7.5.3 on original floppies.
Has all the manuals as far as I can tell. The only major thing it's missing is the top styrofoam to the box
My OCD is kicking in overdrive. Gah! So close. Was looking forward to making it the centerpiece of my collection. I didn't think to ask the seller specifically about the foam inserts. Oh well.
Still, though, I think the price was right especially with the PPC upgrade and FWB card. He also has an envelope with a casette tape on how to install a memory upgrade, with an extremely darn handy SIMM installation/removal tool. I can't tell you how many times I've ripped a nail right into the finger trying removing 8 SIMMs over and over again when I was testing my old IIci's RAM.
It won't power on without the power button on the back held in, but I have an extra power supply and I'll give that a whirl. If I get it working, I'll have an extra IIci for sale/trade later on.
Speaking of boxes... anyone have styrofoam for a IIci they don't want?

Great stuff, the FWB JackHammer is my holy grail of the moment, nice nab!
How are the Rockets fairing?

Not so good on the IIci, perfect on the Quadra.
At least I know that my Rockets are good.

Nice, you'll like the 601 upgrade for sure. I certainly love mine.

Yep, I think that's it. I only got the computer and upgrade cards, though. So everything else in that auction is still available. Shipping prices kept me from getting anything else.
He also has a really cool vintage portable AT&T laser printer. I had never seen one like it before, looked really neat.
