Later models have the four clips. To remove them, gently squeeze the tips on the interior side with a small pliers and push them through. To reinstall, just push back in from the outside.

The problem with the tape (according to Pina) is that it's a pain to remove, especially as the machines can get hot and bake the stuff on, both to the card and to the rear of the board, especially the top piece where it's hottest. He recommends three pieces of tape (like they originally had), but a slightly different location for the top piece. I suppose you could use a rivet punch to punch four small holes in the board where the later models had the plastic clips and use plastic clips instead. That would be much preferable to tape, I would think.
