I had to repair a g3 ibook and a g4 ibook recently. They have too many screws (I like working on Thinkpads) but you can get the job done. The Powerbooks are thinner but one drop and they are dented (ibooks get scratched too easily) plus they are also not too fun to take apart.

I do like the 15" Powerbook g4's and there isn't an equivalent iBook from what I remember.
