Great machine. I power mine up from time to time. It did not have the original power supply, so I hacked a DELL laptop supply to make it power up. Luckily I have had no cap issues. I too had to network it to backup all the data. Mine was owned by a popular writer/educator/columnist - so there was LOTS of cool content on the drive. The former owner now deceased.
