:O I don't know how, but through some voodoo ritual involving copious amounts of rubbing alcohol, HE'S ALIVE! The only issue now is that the "sound" of the computer dips slightly when powering on the monitor during a cold boot, but that can be fixed with a battery swap (I tried an older purchased one from my G4 MDD). Thanks a bunch! May my macintosh live its golden years peacefully.
