one of our members (and a close personal friend) might be interested in that 8500 PSU. I went with him to pickup an 8600 and I think the 8500 PSU might work in it if I am thinking right. either that, if you have an 8600 PSU that you could size/find he would probably be interested in that.

I can't remember the difference between 8500 and 8600 PSU's personally. I just remember that every 8500 I ever owned either popped it's PSU within weeks of me owning it OR it already had a blown PSU when I bought it. Makes me wonder if this one will even work... It looks new to be honest.

Exactly what I was thinking. If it's SCSI, it most likely would've come with an Ultra SCSI PCI card with possibly 4-bit SCSI Addressing (16 SCSI devices including the card) to handle the 7 CD drives plus may another set (would have to be 5 or 6 max I think).

So that's interesting. I thought it might be a CD duplicator, but the Network thing probably sounds a bit more likely.

I was originally thinking CD duplicator but they appear to all be CD-ROM drives at first glance. It's weird, I've never seen one before but I guess they went out of fashion pretty quickly. There's a box of various SCSI cards in this stash so the original card could be in there?
