6 x 32 MB 60ns Ram
Yesterday i got 6 strips of 60ns Ram, 32 MB each and 4 SCSI-disks with 2 GB each. Also one 68-pin 4 GB SCSI-disk, wich came with an adapter for 50-pin SCSI.
In exchange i had to part with an older 80GB 2,5" Sata-disk, wich was left over and unused for years when i put a SSD in my Thinkpad.
My plans:
RAM:
Disks:
Can't wait. :approve:

My plans:
RAM:
- 4 strips go into my Quadra 650 for a max of 132 MB.
- One into my Performa 475 for a max of 36.
- And one i'll add to the 32 MB MB i allready have in my Centris 610, for a max of 68 MB.
Disks:
- The Quadra 650 gets the 4GB disk, this should be enough space to have three systems, MacOS, A/UX and NetBSD.
- The Performa 475, the Centris 610 and two Classic get a 2GB disk.
Can't wait. :approve:
That was one really good deal!
All the ram works as expected. [^]
But the 4GB disk in the Quadra 650 does not. The 50-to-68 pin adapter doesn't fit. :O
Either i cut the case, use cable ties to keep the disk in place or use one of the 2gb disks.

Could you use a 68 pin cable and put the adapter where the cable plugs into the logic board? This will create a small risk in that you have no termination for the upper byte at the logic board end of the cable, but if you use a short cable that should not be an issue.
BTW, if you need any more 32MB SIMMs, I've had a bunch of them for sale for $3 each, plus $3 shipping (total shipping for any quantity) for years now.

Right, a short length of copperwires should do the trick. I have to look through my stuff, maybe i'm lucky.
As for the RAM, thanks for the offer, but i have enough 32 MB modules for now. |)
