Oh dude... school districts. I went to an electronics reseller in Denver years ago and they had pallets, stacked on top of pallets - literally thousands of Classic II's in every condition, inside this warehouse from one of the schools down there. I've heard similar stories in other big cities. They were selling them for $10/each, or free if you take more than a couple...think I picked up two, and traded them off before I knew about the capacitor issues (they had weird problems.)
