Thanks! I did indeed do just that.
I kept the dual-y 800 with the 1.6 gigs of ram. Its pretty damn zippy. Did a clean install of 10.4 and kept all the drives. All I really did to remedy the video problem was swap the cards, but on booting into 9.2 it does weird lines across the screen (like a C64 loading a program, almost) just before the happy mac. Weird. It has dual composite/s-video inputs I might use it to record some video games... maybe... I dunno. Maybe I'll use it to test my raspberry pies composite output.
I might just pass it on to someone who needs it, if anyone in Toronto is reading this gimme a shout.
