convert perl running script to macperl
Hi,
is here someone who is able to "convert" some perl scripts (blog, guestbook) to macperl ?
They work well on linux perl 5, but I'll put them to work on my Mac LC webserver; there is macperl 5.20 installed and running well.
sorry, I'm not a perl expert to do that myself...
Thx
antonio

Without downloading the file (nothing personal), what's wrong with the Perl files that they don't work?
The problem is probably more the webserver than it is MacPerl vs Perl.

Hi,
scripts are taken from http://bkhome.org/blog/ and the other from http://fgguestbook.sourceforge.net/... no virus inside
I've tested it with NetPresenz and QPQ, both are cgi-capable. Before running, I test script with macperl and there are many errors. Maybe simple, but I'm not the expert to "debug" it.
E.g. macperl understand ":" instead of "/" and so on...

Hi,
I tried to adapt script to macperl, but no chance. Maybe perl 5.2.0 for 68k is too old and/or some ports aren't there.
Has someone an idea for a simple perl written blog system for 68k system 7.5.x?
Thx
