So with a load of macs I got last month or so I got 5 accelerators for macs and have 4 identified I think. So I'll describe them maybe you can shed some light as I can't find any info on them really.
It's a day star digital SE powercache P4 adapter with a ram slot and the crystal says 66.666mhz. It has a pass thru which I think is for the P33 daystar digital universal powercache that I found in the box with it which is a 68030C40B with matching FPU. My question is this for both the SE and SE/30 or am I missing something?
SE and SE/30 PDS are completely incompatible. If you line up the Daystar adapter socket with the SuperMac one mentioned below, the physical differences should be clear.
So the next is a Dove computer corp p/n 01082 030 upgrade Mac SE that has to be for the original SE as it snaps right over the processor.
That will probably work on a Plus, assuming that the processor clip still works after all these years. Dove would have made a specific SE version for the SE PDS slot.
Next says Supermac Technology SN 7007528 part number 0006279-0001 with a 68000P12F chip so I was thinking SE accelerator again as its the first with a slot and the chip is a 68000.
That one is unusual. SuperMac never made accelerators of their own design to my knowledge so it will be one created by Levco. A company called Scientific Micro Systems briefly acquired SuperMac and Levco but never made much of them. The companies divorced a few years later.
