Appears to be similar to the one I bought for my Mystic. It barely fits without cutting, the SIMM scrapes along the top of the opening as I slide the motherboard in.
If you still have the LC 5xx back plate (or can get one), you can modify it to fit the CC. You basically just use a dremel tool (or even a saw + file) and trim off the top of the plate. You won't have the clippy tabs, but you can drill a hole on the left side where the screw mount is and screw it securely into place (the right side, I think, is blocked by the ethernet card.) I did it for mine:
