I would like to say one thing about the color classic board.
I've done quite a few now. *Some* of them seem to not want to power on (from keyboard) after a re-cap.
I found the trick is to either install or replace the PRAM battery.
A trick, with it plugged in, and the power switch set to on,
slide the main board in and out really quick then start tapping the power button on the keyboard and then it will power on.
Basically the color classic really does need a PRAM battery. Kind of like the 475/605/6100 etc
