Back in the day, I had a copy of Aperture 1.0 installed on one of the iMac G5s at the high school, with one of its system requirement PLIST files edited, so that it would run in whatever amount of memory that machine had. I recall it not being the worst thing ever. (But I'm sure it would've been far happier if I'd been able to supply it a full two gigs of ram.)
