To clarify, the battery that lasts for 35 mins is the one that shows 64470 as the capacity. The one that shows 4000 actually lasts for about 3 1/2 hours.

I guess I'll try to find a replacement battery and hopefully be able to fix any damage to the older iBook. Thanks everyone!
