Your NIB(New In Box) or NOS(New Old Stock) Apple Collections

I got a NIB/NOS Apple Teardrop mouse recently...

...and it'll probably stay packaged up for a long time.

All I have new in box is a Mic exactly like that one. I have the box for my CC but its used, Have a box for the G4 tower, A studio 17 ich beige Display box and thats it I am pretty sure.

Got an Apple Adjustable Keyboard NIB a few years ago. But I promptly opened it to use it. (Still have all the packaging, of course.)

I have an Apple ADB mouse in the box. I also used to have an apple IIe 80 column text card but I gave it away as a gift to someone years ago.

I've got a whole box of those microphones. They all are in their original boxes, most still are shrink-wrapped I think. I've also got one or two Lisa 2 manuals still shrink-wrapped. I know there's a 40 MB Apple ROM 3.5" SCSI HD in the basement still sealed in the static bag. I've got other items with boxes, but they're used with the box, not NOS. I think that's it.

Unfortunately neither of these are still sealed on the outside, but the twist ties and such have never been removed.

I think the only thing I ahve is an ADB keyboard and I don't really care much for it because it's a box and it takes up more space than necessary to store the keyboard.

I think the only unused, in-box items I have are a set of early Pro Speakers and a pair old 2400 baud Apple Modems (one Apple II, the other Mac). I have other complete, boxed stuff but it's all used.

Only unused things i have so far i can remember, is that microphone (yes), Aperture 2 upgrade boxed sealed, Macintosh Memory Expansion Kit (4x1MB 30pin SIMM), Apple Macintosh Classic 1 MB Memory expansion Card. Have some other boxed stuff also but not unused etc.

Had a NIB Microsoft SoftCard. Got rid of it with the Apple ///, though. Was used as trade fodder for my IIci.

Never used by the previous owners, have not had time to test those myself.

Also get a 100 Mo SCSi Zip drive, not sealed, but barely used.

I also have a sealed mic.

I've got lots of boxed items, both complete and incomplete, but not all are nib.

I have an Apple IIe card with the box and everything in it, but the card and cable are being used with my CC

I had a box of microphones in the plastic wrap, so I was chucking them in with each computer I sold on eBay.

Got a heap of stuff boxed, but all used, apart from an Adjustable Keyboard.

For awhile I had an ImageWriter II AppleTalk Option card still in the shrinkwrapped box... until the day that I wanted to use it about 2 years ago!

I had no problem undoing it all.

I have a System 7 upgrade kit that was sent to my Godmother. Still has a letter thanking her for her request for updated software (She was a teacher, so I think this was a special education deal). Has the folder with all the System 7 floppies and all the manuals, etc.

Other than stuff that is still relatively new today (iPad, iPad 3, mac mini, usb and bluetooth keyboards, ipods and iphones) I had the packaging and kit for an Apple Adjustable Keyboard, plus one of those circular microphones, although my box for the circular mic was white, and I had the line audio adapter as well.

After that -- it's just software. I have AppleWorks 5 and 6, Mac OS 7.6, 9.0, 10.3, 10.5, At Ease 1.0, and more recently I picked up copies of Mac OS X Server 10.5.4 and Final Cut Studio 2.

I think I have one or two Claris things in their packages, or at least internal boxes, and I've got some other period-appropriate Mac software in boxes, such as PageMaker and FreeHand, and Word5/Excel4/PowerPoint3.

I have lots of stuff still in original boxes however the only thing "BNIB" or "NOS" I own is a copy of Hypercard, still shrinkwrapped.

Boxed stuff is cool however it's hard to store, hard to look after and protect and doesn't really do much for me personally. I can appreciate it but am not fussed on owning any of it. Would rather out of box.

I keep all the software boxes, but I flatten them and cut the extra stick-out parts off and stick 'em in a big zip-lock bag with the manuals and media. That makes it easy to find in the file drawers. Not a lot of point to it these days it seems . . .

I just remembered that I think I got a shrink wrapped copy of Adobe Illustrator (I can't remember what version it was, unfortunately, although I could go look).

There might be more, but I can't remember now (I need to inventory everything so I know what's what; I have a general idea, but that's not good enough anymore).

Have also an Apple Hypercard (sealed manual and disks) as well OSX Server 10.4 and OSX 10.3 never used. Had 10.3 Server also but gave that away years ago.

There was a guy on ebay that was selling SE/30's New In box(sealed) about a year ago. How cool would that be to have a sealed se/30?

Question arises, did the SE/30s battery explode?

That was the topic of discussion at the time.

I used to have a carton FULL of those microphones in boxes years ago, got rid of them all because I had no practical use for them.

Forgot to mention... I do have something still shrink-wrapped. A copy of Galaxian for Apple II series.

Only thing I have is an brand new iPod Shuffle 1st Gen. This had to my

2nd favorite iPod ever released because of the remote design and the fact it was first iPod in 2005. Alond with the new one, I have a rare HP iPod Shuffle 1st Gen (along with a box, not the original) and the original one I bought at Best Buy in 2005 (along with the original box).

That's the spirit. The only things I still have wrapped up are the ones that I have spares of. That is to say, there is no need for me to unwrap them.

It's just in a white box. There may have been a colorful sleeve around it once.
