Thanks - turned out I had to re-name the install folder to "AppleShare Client Install", dropping the version number.

Funny how the Apple guide just says "Follow the instructions", but then doesn't give a basic instruction such as how to name your resource!

What is the benefit if OT 1.3?

So far, I have managed to set up TCP\IP for ethernet, but have not managed to get a connection to anything else on the LAN.

Ideally, I want to establish SMB access, which is the common platform for all machines on my LAN. Is there a guide for that somewhere?
