I've given the imic and the like some thought, but I don't think that they'll be up to the job of transferring the data as cleanly/efficiently as I'd need for the radio digital modes to work well. So I'm definitely looking at a proper card.

The M-Audio revolution looks perfect, but they're very thin on the ground, just one on ebay at the moment, and that's in Greece and I don't want to drop £20 on postage... There is one that's currently inside a G5 available, and within driving distance for me. i think I shall keep an eye on that...
