That does sound tempting, but I'm really not a big fan of online auctions (if I'm serious in buying something on eBay, I always look for buy it now, and I avoid auction style listings like the plague, unless it's strictly for educational purposes (i.e., curiosity about prices, etc.), especially sniping (I get tempted, but then driven away when I remember how stressed I felt the last time I did it).
If someone were to bid/snipe for me, and send it over, I'd gladly pay whomever for the favor. It would probably end up being about the same as if I had gotten the local one, though, but it's probably worth it to me (for this moment, anyway
