Dunno, I've observed that the single postings often lead to discussions that bring missing information to the surface. They can be much more than just ticker-tape news feed postings and they're easier to search for info.

Asking about/discussing pricing is a sticky wicket that we usually avoid, lest such devolves into ridiculing/criticizing a seller, which is strictly verboten.
