Macintosh Plus / 512k keyboard

I have a keyboard suffering with two dead keys, I've tried following some of the guides online for removing the black plastic surround, so that i can access the mechanism. However I've had no luck.

Would I be best off desoldering and removing the two dead keys?

Have you tried re-flowing those solder joints yet?

Ended up taking it apart and removing each of the switches and rebuilding them
