Some more modern Macs
Recent acquisitions include:
- G4 iMac (700MHz, 15") - my second one - couldn't resist!
- G5 PowerMac (2003 Dual 1.8GHz) - my first PowerMac G5 - I already have a G5 iMac and Xserve in the collection
- Cube (450MHz) - purchased mainly for the motherboard as my other Cube has the Firewire ports not working
Now I just need to find time to tinker with them!

Hehehe nice scores.
Have you had a chance to see if any power on at least?!

Fired the iMac G4 up, everything looks fine, specifications are pretty stock:
- 700MHz G4/256MB RAM/40GB HDD/Mac OS X 10.3.9
I remember being enthralled by these iMacs when they came out - I was at Uni and one of the PC computer labs had a handful of these sitting against the wall.

The Cube is working too! Specs are:
- G4 450MHz/1GB RAM/120GB HDD/Mac OS X 10.5.8
- G4 450MHz/1GB RAM/120GB HDD/Mac OS X 10.5.8
And finally the G5 PowerMac is up and running! Specs are:
- 2 x 1.8GHz G5/2GB RAM/600GB HDD/Mac OS X 10.5.8
- 2 x 1.8GHz G5/2GB RAM/600GB HDD/Mac OS X 10.5.8
How 10.5 is working on the Cube, not too slow ?G4 450MHz/1GB RAM/120GB HDD/Mac OS X 10.5.8
I'm glad the Cube is safe! If I could have it my way, those little guys would never see a dumpster in their life (I would own them all
).
