Well what happens is that os x tiger boots up to my usual desktop. I can tell there is a large increase in speed, so the processor seems to be working. The problem is only some of my applications work, and some don't. For example, spotify will always work, but tenfourfox never will. I also cannot install any new applications, if i try the computer will just report an error. The screen also has a few small lines on it. What I mean is that a few pixels will be distorted in different places, like the spotlight icon might have a few black pixels on it, or a few jagged lines will be running across an icon on the dock. Although there are the problems I mentioned such as some apps crashing immediately and some distortion in the picture on the screen, the computer will seem to run fine for awhile. Then, no matter what after about 10-15 minutes the entire computer will freeze and turn grey with the big picture of the power button on the screen that tells you to restart your computer.
