Ok before I label this dead and cry about it, here is a picture. There are two matching chips that are side by side. The one that is burnt is an exact duplicate of the one next to it. Can I transplant a new chip there? Do I look for a matching chip that has 9435A on it and I am good? I am just gonna take a stab at this as the rest of the 1400 looks amazing. 40 megs of ram and a 1 gig hard drive. CDrom and floppy for 20 bucks shipped it would be nice to repair.
