It's a C card by the way , and it was working OK on sys 8 before the crash .
I got the HD going again with the use of a DiskTools floppy , now it tells me the "software is designed to run from a floppy", but I can boot into it OK .....and I dont have the original Sys 8 install disk(s) ...( I don't think it's available for free )
I also installed a 7.5.3. onto a CF card and can boot from that .
Seems that neither OS /card wants to "handshake" the Cable Modem, it's not showing a connect light at the modem side.
I d' loaded the Open Transport and re-installed that .And upgraded the 7.5.3 to 7.5.5 , but no difference.
I'm beginning to think the Etherlink card has died even though it flashes at boot up .
