The inside of my Macintosh Plus looks bad. It's all rusted and it looks like part of the back case melted or something. It's amazing that it worked at all. The caps on the analog board look ok, none of them seem to be bulging. See the pics below.





Is that glue? Or are those caps leaking really bad?









What happened to the back inside case? Did it melt? Is this common?

Now that I got it opened, where exactly do I look for cracked solder joints?
