. . . dunno if this is news or not, but it's time to save some pages as before Apple deep sixes everything else about info they don't want used for new development.

Just by limiting the search to "macintosh" I found a dozen interesting pages.

Reversing the date sort so it starts at 1984 is handy, too
FWIW, most of the "retired documents" Apple had left on ADC the developer site were all Carbon and early X stuff. These files (including the PDFs that are 404'd now) are forever available on the Jag/Panther DevTools CDs in the Documentation package, and also come standard with Xcode for Tiger – all of which are, as of this writing, still available for download directly from Apple for all ADC Select Mac Developer Program members.
The tome for Toolbox development – Inside Macintosh – is still available from Apple if you know how to find it, as well. I downloaded the entire PDF set one night and made a nice .sit archive of the entirety. If anyone wants it, feel free to PM. :b&w:
