Possible sir, tho it'd be very hit and miss finding something to fit the bill... Also I'm not sure anything intended for automotive or plumbing purposes would allow for the correct control of the motor unit or adequate excursion with such a modestly powered driver. Would be interested to know the results if somebody does try it however.

No further news on this front unfortunately... Health not been the best, and compound that with a massive pile of other things needing to be done and a bit of an unwanted spell of depression, I havent thus far gotten to ordering the speakers or even doing anything with the Macs for a fortnight or so. My absense here may or may not have been noted. Slowly getting on top of things tho so should have news in time
