I'm not running with any SIMMs installed, just the 8MB onboard. But I'm going to see if I can get TechTool running to test it. Hope it's not the onboard memory or I could be in trouble!
EDIT: I couldn't find a download of TechTool that was either bootable or would let me make a boot disk, but I did find RAMometer. Which promptly crashed with a type 10 error after I clicked to start the test. I think that is in fact the problem-- onboard ram has gone bad. What a shame, nothing I can do now unless there's some way to bypass it.
