PB 540c LCD in a 520c
Finally got around to installing the PB 540C LCD into my PB520.
Works great, but its in definite need of a new CCFL tube. ugh... But at least it works.

You know that the logic boards of the 5x0s are identical, right? In some cases it may be easiest just to swap over the CPU module.
I'm guessing the only functional part of the 540c he had was the display assembly.
Regarding CCFL replacement, in general, I'm 2:1. Revived two, ruined one.

Man my eyes are bad, thumbnail made me think you had Tiger on there!
I only had the lcd. Got it from ebay cheap. cheaper than buying an entire 540c
I need to keep an eye out for one of those. The passive matrix screen in my 520C is terrible. I've been spoiled by modern TFTs.
